Highlands Foundry X Salt Still Collaboration

This piece was created in collaboration with another talented maker Salt Still. This Haori style jacket was made starting with a vintage cotton quilt from the Amish area in Pennsylvania. The quilt was comprised using 6 layers of fine cotton and stitched together in an amazing pattern. Once we designed and sewed the jacket together it was hand dyed by Salt Still using a natural cutch dye and dipped several times to create a gentle ombre pattern on the jacket.

The jacket is a relaxed fit based off of a vintage Japanese Haori jacket. There are front patch pockets and quilted front and sleeve bands. This is a one size fits all piece.
